Thank you for finding my work among so many photographers. I’m Masahito Yoshida.
I was born in Nomi, Ishikawa and am currently based in Komagane, Nagano, photographing families throughout Nagano and nearby regions.
Why I became a photographer
Very few photographs remain from my childhood, even though I know my family shared many loving and happy moments.
I remember my grandmother carrying me on her back and walking around the kotatsu to soothe me. I still wish someone had photographed that scene.
A photograph can become a doorway back into a nearly forgotten moment. I photograph so families can carry today’s affection and warmth into the future.
A calm photographer who does not push
I do not force smiles or try to manufacture the same expression within a short schedule. I wait until your family feels like itself again.
Natural expressions and small gestures matter more to me than speed. That is the heart of my approach.
I follow your child’s pace
I do not immediately point the camera at a child who is not used to being photographed. I watch them talk and play with their family and wait for their expression to soften naturally.
Session times are a guide, not a reason to rush. If your child runs, I move with them and look for the best angle.

Rain, cancellation, and rescheduling
For rain, we can reschedule, photograph at home, adjust the time, or continue outside—whatever best suits your plans.
Cancellation and rescheduling are free for any reason and at any time. I charge no cancellation or rescheduling fee.
Newborn photography
I offer styled newborn sessions with clothing and props, as well as natural sessions without handling the baby. Safety always comes first.
